Multi-function fuel oil additive formulated to increase thermal efficiency, reduction in soot emission and saving in fuel consumption.
Benefits :
  • Saving in fuel consumed per unit of stream produced – a result of more complete combustion increase of thermal  efficiency (BTU) and heat transfer.
  • Treatment improves atomization and combustion with reduction in ash deposit and soot emissions -fewer stoppages for fireside cleaning.
  • Controls build-up of tank-bottom sludge, minimal varnish and gums formation and cleaner lines, strainers, pre-heaters, orifices and burners.
  • Longer service life for equipment – a result of the corrosion inhibitors such as rust and scales. Operation of steam boilers and turbines is noticeably improved when the fuel is “DRY” and corrosion under control.


Applications :

BLP 518 can be dispensed from shipping containers by chemical-metering pumps or suitable measuring containers. The product could be fed into the line transferring the fuel from the tank car or tank truck to the plant tank or bunker. Alternatively, it can be added to the tank or bunker before each delivery of fuel oil is received. Recirculation of fuel from the bottom to the top of storage tank will be helpful in obtaining thorough distribution of the fuel oil additive.
